This black and white laser multifunction printer looks like a neat mini-counter that is ready to serve a hot cup of coffee. I am referring to the Canon imageCLASS D420. Of course, this printer does not dispense a can of softdrinks but Quick First Prints within 9 seconds. For a letter-sized document, it has a print speed that can reach a maximum of 23 pages per minute. Papers are not wasted with option to automatically print on both sides. The D420’s paper tray can accommodate 250 sheets of paper for every operator’s convenience. Minimizing paper wastage is just one of the advantages because there are also savings in utilizing cheap printer ink . Apportioning the use of consumables is a practical strategy in printing.

The functionality and aesthetic appeal of imageCLASS D420 are its ticket for home and office usage. As a monochrome laser, the unit works on media types like bond paper, plain paper and thick paper. This is too limiting because other printers of the same type works on more kinds of media. However, it works well with a variety of operating systems like Windows 7, Vista, XP, and 2000.
