Color Laserjet CP1215, CP1515n, CP1518ni (CB540A)

The HP LaserJet CP 1215 Color Printer  is a versatile and low cost printer that uses a laserjet toner cartridge ink system. Peachtree Ink guarantees that you will be pleased with the performance of their re-manufactured generic toner cartridges – or your money will be returned to you.  The HP LaserJet color printer CP 1215 is a very basic single-function model designed for small workgroups.  It is very light and compact, sitting comfortably on a desktop.  Monthly recommended print volume is a modest 1000 pages, adequate only for a small office.  It is comparatively slow in printing, at 24 seconds for monochrome and 30 seconds for color. 

 

This model has a basic control panel with marked function buttons rather than a more modern multi use LCD screen –there is an LCD screen, but its functions are limited.  It does not have a great deal of internal hardware – it does not network or have automatic duplex (double-sided) printing.  Access to the inside is by way of the front, which makes changing ink cartridges easy.  This printer is formatted for use with Windows only, so cannot be attached to a Mac system.  Print resolution is 600 x 600 dpi, which, using HP ImageREt 2400 gives an excellent result, in both monochrome and color. It will print efficiently on a range of media – paper of different weights and textures sized up to 10.12 x 14.33 inches, card and transparencies. Keep in mind that the toner cartridges from Peachtree ink are re-filled lower cost toner cartridges and they work just as well as any other.
