LEXMARK TONER - E321, E323 (12A7405) HIGH YIELD - (Black)

A faster and better version of its predecessor E320,the Lexmark E321 is one of the most affordable monochrome laser printer that can deliver impressive prints of up to 20 pages per minute. It claims a first page out of less than 10 seconds, all in a new attractive design. It can easily be integrated into any office because of its small footprint, weighing only 20 pounds and just a little over 18 inches dimension. Input trays have average paper capacity of 150 which can only be upgraded up to 400 sheets. The toner cartridge included can print up to 3000 pages, but using high yield re-filled toner cartridge (#1), you can double the quantity up to 6000 prints. Built-in RAM is only 8 MB, with option for upgrade of maximum 72 MB. Default resolution is 600 x 600 dpi, but it is also possible to print higher resolution images of up to 1200 dpi. 

 

Connectivity is through the standard USB and parallel port, but there is an available Ethernet networking interface option for this model in a little expensive price range. Text and image printing quality is fair but nothing to write home about. Although generally decent, smaller font point size can come out unreadable on some documents. This is true even when using the original brand Lexmark toner cartridges. Even when you use the lower cost generic brand CHEAP TONER you will still get the same rendering result. Using and off brand toner replacement cartridge does not mean a poorer print result.
